Sequel is an annual creative arts publication featuring the poetry, prose, photography, and art from the student body of Dulaney High School (population 1,830 students/ 150 faculty). The magazine is managed by the members of the Advanced Creative Writing class, who meet bi-weekly to recruit and select pieces for the magazine in addition to crafting their own work.
Separate Literary and Art staffs review submissions anonymously, determining acceptance to the magazine based on artistic merit. Students are allowed a maximum of three accepted pieces of writing, three accepted pieces of art, or a combination of both.
In addition to critiquing, formatting, and marketing the magazine, Sequel publishes and maintains a blog featuring even more art and writing from the student body, here, at sequelmagazine.org!
Sequel is dedicated to celebrating and cultivating the creativity of Dulaney students while fostering appreciation for their work.
