Four Seasons

Four Seasons

The leaves are changing colors on the trees
They slowly start to cascade to the ground
And they whirl about freely with the breeze
As the people rake the leaves by the pound

The winter snowflakes falling from the sky
A barren landscape with a certain glow
Whilst the shoppers searching for a gift to buy
All amongst the glistening flakes of snow

Alas the fruit has ripen on the vine
With the countless days of warm spring showers
The endless picnics in the grass to dine
Kids will play outside for countless hours

The summer marks a time to spend in rest
Abruptly ends with the student’s first test
