THE parents of a missing teen have issued a desperate plea for their daughter to come home as they beg anyone who may have her to bring her back.

Alicia Anderson, 16, has been missing for 10 days after she was last seen on Friday, January 19, at 4:32 pm.

The teen, from Cary, North Carolina, told her parents that night that she was going to a friend’s house for a sleepover.

However, the friend said she didn’t have plans with Alicia – prompting her parents to fear she may have been taken.

“It’s a lot on everybody and not knowing what’s going on – has she been taken? Is she being held against her will? Is she a runaway?” her dad, Michael Sullivan, said.

“That’s the worst worst part is not knowing what level this is at.”

Alicia was last pictured on her family’s Ring doorbell camera wearing plaid red and black pajama bottoms, a hooded sweatshirt, and a pink backpack.

“If someone has her, please bring her home,” her heartbroken mom, Ashley Anderson, told The U.S. Sun while trying to hold back tears.

“If she hears this, we just want you to come home. You’re not in any trouble. We’re not mad. We just want you safe,” her dad said.

After talking with cops, Alicia’s parents found out that their daughter had been chatting with older men on social media.

Ashley said she had no idea as Alicia had broken her phone in November and she hadn’t bought her a replacement.

But when police spoke to Alicia’s friends at school, they learned that the teen had gotten her hands on an older phone.

“They said that she had been talking to older guys on Facebook,” said Ashley.

“I didn’t think that she’s been talking to anybody besides her friends at school, because all she had was a school tablet.

“She had two steady boyfriends and she would talk about them with me.

“She’s literally not mentioned a guy in a long while now. So I didn’t even think there were any guys.”

DESPERATE SEARCH

Alicia’s mom told The U.S. Sun that she thought her daughter was going to ride the bus home with her friend after school on Friday for the sleepover.

“She laid on my bed and was talking about how stressful her exams, work, stuff like that,” Ashley said.

“She wanted to know if she could stay the night with her friend.

“And I said, ‘Yes, that’s fine. Just make sure you text me, you know, so I know you’re OK,’ and things like that.”

Ashley said her daughter packed her things before heading to school, but she didn’t hear from her over the weekend.

She assumed her daughter was at school on Monday, but Ashley then received a call telling her that Alicia never turned up to class.

Alicia’s friends told police they hadn’t seen her since school on Friday.

Her parents and two siblings are now desperate for answers about where the teen is and whether she’s in danger.

“This feels like every parent’s worst fear, and it’s happening to us,” Alicia’s dad said.

“You hear about this kind of stuff all the time, and you don’t think it’s gonna happen.

“Nothing can describe the kind of pain that this has caused us.”

The teen’s parents said she often wears a rosary and shared a photo of some beads similar to her set.

She is Japanese-Caucasian and stands at 5 feet 3 inches tall.

The Cary Police Department posted photos of Alicia on January 26, asking the public to be on the lookout for the missing teen.

The department didn’t immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s requests for updates on the case.

Anyone with information about Alicia is asked to call Cary Crimestoppers at (919) 460-4636 or the Cary Police Department at (919) 469-4012.
