To a lot of people feminism is a dirty word, something they don’t want to associate with, something that is radical and intimidating. That is not what Feminism is. Feminism is about equality, not being ashamed of who you are, and having the opportunity to choose your own path in life without being limited by your gender. You’re invited to join with me to celebrate feminism in all its amazingness.

From magazines, to internet trolls, to catcallers, to the person that stares back at you when you look in the mirror in the morning, our society is obsessed with degrading women to merely the flesh and bone that make up their bodies, and shaming them when they do not fit in a predetermined mold of “pretty”. To me that is just plain stupid. (Excuse my not very eloquent bluntness) I believe that a person is so much more than their cup size, or if they have a thigh gap. Everyone desires to love their body and feel confident. To celebrate this ideal here is some of my favorite art work surrounding body positivity.
